How many hours of therapy will my child need?

Determining the right amount of therapy is a collaborative, science-based process. Every child’s journey begins with a comprehensive assessment conducted by our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

During this assessment, the BCBA evaluates your child’s unique strengths and needs to provide a formal clinical recommendation.

Following established clinical standards, we typically recommend one of two paths:

  • Comprehensive ABA (30–40 hours/week): An intensive approach often recommended for younger children to address multiple areas like language, social play, and self-care.
  • Focused ABA (10–25 hours/week): Targeted support for children who are working on a few specific goals, such as social skills or specific daily routines.

Our goal is to provide the support necessary for a life-changing impact while ensuring your child still has plenty of time for rest, family, and just being a kid.
